How long have your been in business?
I have been coordinating wedding ceremonies since 1999.

Is this your full time job?
Yes; my clients are my first priority.
Do you charge for the initial meeting?
No, our first meeting is complimentary.
Are you a Wedding Planner or a Wedding Coordinator?
I am neither. I am a Wedding Liaison.
What is a Wedding Liaison?
A wedding liaison simply provides coordination services at the ceremony site.
This includes overseeing and directing set-up and décor, managing the timeline and events of the ceremony, serving as a liaison between the couple and their vendors, and also acting as the point of contact for the ceremony.
What is a Super Liaison?
A super liaison coordinates AND officiates at the wedding. So many venues in the St Louis Metropolitan area do not have someone to oversee and execute the event. Carolyn Burke has been a part of 100's of weddings all around the St Louis Metro Area since 2004. The demand for her expertise as an event coordinator AND wedding officiant make this package unique and of great value. The Super Liaison is like having TWO vendors for the price of ONE.
How many ceremonies do you coordinate in a year and what are your prices?
I coordinate 10-15 events in a year. My fees start at $400 for the Ceremony Coordination package.
My fee to perform the ceremony and coordinate the ceremony site starts at $600 - the Super Liaison package.
How far in advance should I book your services?
The sooner the better! I only take on a limited number of ceremony coordination services each year as my schedule fills up fast.

No; I am a firm believer in team work to create a seamless event.

What is your educational background?
I am an Accredited Bridal Consultant™ and one of less than 75 worldwide to hold this prestigious designation. I had to pass a portfolio review; attend several business seminars, webinars and networking events; and receive recommendations from clients and other wedding professionals.
I believe that continuing education and being a mentor to others is the key to staying abreast of current trends and making them work for my couples.
Do you work with LGBTQ couples?
Yes; I support Marriage Equality, and recommend wedding professionals that do as well.
